Step 2: Devising a Strategy to Get You There
Once you have established your objective(s), develop an action plan designed to reach your goal. Our approach to devising the best strategy for you includes a three-part process.
First, gather intelligence through fact-finding.
Second, network and build your international contacts.
Third, consider the pros and cons of various regions, countries, and cultures.
Although luck and/or happenstance can lead you on a particular journey, doing your research up front will enable you to better understand your options, carry on potentially productive conversations with colleagues and coworkers, and make more informed choices.
